Personal Introduction
Learn how to speak effectively into a microphone
and present yourself on stage.
During your personal introduction, you will learn to present yourself confidently in front of an audience and speak effectively into a microphone. Public speaking is an important skill to master. It will allow you to confidently give class presentations, take leadership on projects at school or a job, and expand your listening and writing skills. When you master this important life skill, you will feel empowered and ready to inspire other young ladies to work on their public speaking skills as well.
You will have 30 seconds or less to tell us who you are, where you are from, what your dreams and aspirations are, and one or two interesting facts about yourself.
Formal Wear
Learn how to present yourself using non-verbal communication as you model on stage.
This is your moment to shine – feeling like the princess you This is your moment to shine – feeling like the princess you are! You will walk across a beautiful stage with lights shining all around you, introduced by a professional emcee. Your family will watch you glide across the stage, while you learn to confidently present yourself. This is an excellent opportunity to show the judges why you should represent Miss Beautifully You. Make sure to pick your favorite dress; one that shows your personal style and makes you feel confident.
Choose a special man or women in your life to escort you; such as your dad, mom, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandpa, grandma, or friend. This is your chance to create a special memory with your escort! Of course, he or she will be dressed up too. Wearing dress pants and a button up long sleeve shirt with a tie, a suit, or a dress, he or she will proudly walk you across the stage. Remember, this is your last chance to shine before the judges decide who will be the next queen!

Knowing how to interview is an important real world skill. When applying for your first job, you will feel more confident knowing you have practiced the interview process. Remember to take a few minutes before your interview to breath, get yourself into the right frame of mind, and focus on what you want them to remember about you.
